- Airlines that service Macau includes Air Macau, Eva Airline, Air Asia, Tiger Airways, Viva Macau Airline, Shanghai Airline, Shenzhen Airline, Xiamen Airline, TransAsia Airline etc.
- Fast ferry services are available from Hong Kong (Kowloon and Hong Kong island) and Shenzhen.
- Macau is part of the Pearl River Delta Region with over 60 million population.Despite accounting for just 0.5 percent of the total Chinese territory and having just 5 percent of its population, PRD region generates about 20 percent of the China's total GDP.

- Total visitors number reached all-time record of 22 millions in 2006, up 20% over 2005. It is expected to reach 25 millions in 2007.
- Total resident population was estimated at 520,000 as at 31 March 2007, with expected growth rate of 5% per year. There are about 80,000 non-resident workers and an unemployment rate of 3%.

The main island of Macau is linked by 3 beautiful bridges to Taipa island (where the international airport is located), that is connected to the new Cotai landfill area (where new mega casino-resort-convention complexes are being built) that merges with the beautiful residential-resort island of Coloane.

The architectural views of the new Cotai Strip of Asia, where US$8+ billions mega casino-resort-convention complexes are being built that will include 8 new 5-star hotels with 12,000+ rooms, 1,500,000+ sq. ft. of convention halls, meeting rooms, entertainment arenas and retail spaces, scheduled to be completed by 2007.
